OUR MISSION

Unlocking the leadership potential of young people so that they can transform their world through the values of sport and community engagement.

Outdoor Experiential Leadership Programme

Adventure expeditions to shape future leaders.

Discover our programme

Offered during school holidays, our adventure expeditions provide teenagers aged 14 to 17 with an immersive experience combining sport, culture, civic engagement and environmental awareness.

Programmes are bilingual English - French and welcome teenagers of all nationalities.

Across mountains and ocean, each adventure expedition combines multi-sport activities, cultural discoveries, community service, and opportunities to interact with experts, elite athletes, and inspiring personalities.

We believe that teenagers who open themselves up to new environments, take on real challenges and explore their leadership potential will have the tools to build a more caring and inspiring world.

Our small groups of 6 and 9 teenagers are designed to encourage this development.

SPORTS AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

Our sporting and cultural activities are rooted in the local environment and traditions of each location. They are designed to suit everyone's physical abilities, so that each teenager can take on their own challenges, assert their strengths and exceed their limits.

PRACTICAL TRAINING

Thanks to the small group size, everyone can play an active role, exercice leadership and grow at their own pace. Supervised by experienced professionals and inspiring figures, participants evolve in an environment that is demanding, yet inclusive and supportive. At YLA, there is a place for everyone.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Working with local associations committed to the common good, participants are exposed to community service as a avenue to leave a lasting, positive mark on the world around them.

Intercultural programme

Take part in a unique intercultural programme once a year, combining leadership, sport and civic engagement. From building schools and helping disadvantaged communities to environmental projects, these trips immerse our young people into a human and transformative adventure, where every action contributes to building a better world.

These civic initiatives are made possible through partnerships with leading NGOs and foundations that oversee humanitarian projects.

Workshops and Conferences

Young Leaders Adventures runs practical workshops in collaboration with schools, sports clubs and partner associations to reach as many young people as possible. These voluntary activities are not theoretical lessons but are based on leadership through action: practical scenarios, group challenges, role-playing, followed by a reflection phase where everyone analyses their reactions and identifies their strengths.

Our conferences address three central themes: leadership, civic engagement and environmental awareness. They feature inspiring personalities (top athletes, entrepreneurs, change makers) who demonstrate that leadership takes many forms and that daring to get involved is within everyone's reach.

Our commitments

Each camps is designed by expert teams who accompany you every step of the way, from booking to your teenager's return home, ensuring their safety, well-being, and fulfilment throughout the experience.

Our supervisors are trained in first aid and hold recognised certifications, guaranteeing safe and qualified support.

Accommodation

Each accommodation is carefully selected to offer a safe, comfortable and friendly environment. It becomes an essential base for rest, group cohesion and reflection after busy days. It ensures comfort and respects everyone's privacy and space.

Professional supervision

Our programmes are led by passionate professionals who are trained in working with teenagers. Their expertise, kindness and energy are central to the quality of the experience.

Local action

We work closely with local partners to ensure that our projects are useful, sustainable and meaningful. Their expertise enables young people to experience authentic and responsible cultural immersion.

SPORT LEADERSHIP ENVIRONNEMENT

Young Leaders' Adventures is a non-profit organisation founded by enthusiasts from a variety of backgrounds, from elite sports to finance, entrepreneurship to the arts. United by a common mission, our mission is to pass on the values of self-improvement, sports and concrete action to the next generation .

LEADERSHIP THROUGH ACTION

Leadership through action is an educational approach based on the belief that leadership cannot only be taught in theory, but is developed through practical experience, real commitment and facing authentic challenges. It is a form of leadership that is forged on the ground, rooted in the values of responsibility, courage and service. Being a leader through action means learning by doing: taking initiative in real-life situations, collaborating to solve concrete problems, overcoming adversity, serving others, and then reflecting on these experiences to extract lessons learned. Leadership through action requires courage, personal commitment and authenticity.YLA is committed to revealing the potential of every young person and nurturing a new generation of leaders through tangible community projects, demanding expeditions in the great outdoors and challenges that push everyone out of their comfort zone.
